Design Marie Verlet-Nezri
Small turned pieces with grace as we could do our scales, bowls, porcelain cups, all alike and all different, with simple movements of the lines of the form and decoration.
Marie Verlet porcelains look like her : tiny, simple, bright, sensitive, delicate.
From the curved surface of the cups, the clouds take off to become paintings, with interesting densities of black. The ceramist admits her interest with environmental art and design rather than art movements, and lies resolutely on the side of a modernity which white and net values outweigh the confusion.
