Design Chris Brown pour Studio Dirt Road Modern
Vermont, United States
A duo of candlesticks with architectural shapes. Clean and organic design. Each piece has a unique casting giving a different variation to the aspirations of the concrete.
Dirt Road Modern studio was founded in Vermont by architect Chris Brown. His passion for design and crafts dates back to his childhood.
A Harvard architect graduate, Chris has worked as an architect and designer on numerous projects, from the creation of small objects and furniture to large-scale residential and commercial projects. In all his projects Chris has never stopped exploring the expressive potential of all minimalist forms.
Its series of candlesticks exploits the possibilities of cast concrete. First made of wood from which a rubber mold is created which will serve as a container where the concrete will be poured.
Concrete offers endless creative possibilities: raw, organic, tactile and refined at the same time.
Some imperfections in the concrete may appear.
Each piece is unique.
Each: 2 1/2” x 4 1/4” x 3” (short), 3” x 5 1/2” x 3” (long).
The color of the concrete may vary slightly from the images shown.
